Increase the visibility of my blog posts?

An article that no one is interested in will not bring any traffic to your website. On the other hand, by positioning yourself on certain specific keywords that users will use in their searches, you will be able to attract the people you want and no longer be drowned in competition.

To find out if there is research around the article you wanted to write, we recommend the “SEMrush” tool. By typing, the word or words you want to use, it will allow you to assess relevance using the various parameters.

SEO parameters to take into account

  • The search volume : It corresponds to Number of times per month that users searched for this keyword.
  • The difficulty of the keyword : It's there difficulty ranking for this keyword.
  • Research intent : This is the intention of the users who are looking for this keyword. Example: Consulting firm in Lille -> “Commercial” intention, we are looking for a company
  • Related words : Other keywords that might be interesting for your article.

Choosing the right keywords

To find interesting keywords, you can also use a funnel.

For example, start with the word”Lawyer“:

  • A very high volume: 74k searches.
  • A difficulty of 80%: It will be very complicated, if not impossible, to be well referenced.

Then we try with”Tax lawyer“:

  • A large volume: 5.4k of searches.
  • A difficulty of 30%: Very competitive, it will always be complicated to be well referenced but it is possible.

To refine even more, we will use”Tax lawyer Versailles“:

  • The volume is not huge: 50 searches, but if these 50 people find my site it could be very interesting.
  • A difficulty of 17%: It is entirely possible to be well referenced on this keyword.

If we had put Paris instead of Versailles, the competition would have been much greater and we would have had to look for other less competitive keywords.

To make articles that click!

All you have to do is type keywords into SEMrush and see if writing an article about them will bring you traffic. So no more articles that are useless and that are of no interest to anyone, hello click machines.

On top of that, SEMrush brings you elements that will help you build your items.

Google questions

Google often highlights questions during a search. These questions are an opportunity for you to further improve the relevance of your articles. These are very interesting keywords that you can reuse in your articles.
