We were lucky to have Noemie Saidi Cottier and Frederic Lalance On the podcast Cheat Code To talk about Elections of the Council of the Ordre du Barreau de Paris.
The Paris Bar is at a decisive turning point, and two lawyers with very different but complementary backgrounds present themselves with a common vision: to strengthen the Order and make it more united and adapted to today's challenges.
Their candidacy is based on profound values: Confraternity, justice and innovation.
These two lawyers are Noémie Saidi-Cottier, a lawyer at the Paris Bar for 12 years and specialized in criminal law, and Frédéric Lalance, a lawyer since 1986, who heads the Litigation Group of Orrick Rambaud Martel.
Their aim? Building an Order that truly protects its members, adapts to changes in professional practices, and works for uncompromising respect for essential principles.
They want modernized ethics, a strengthened fight against harassment, including motherhood harassment, and an uncompromising defense of professional secrecy.
They also call for an Order that promotes innovation and helps firms integrate new technologies, while ensuring that Paris continues to shine on the international legal scene.
At the same time, they want to ease relationships between lawyers and judges, improve continuing education, and support young lawyers in their development.
In the end, their commitment is guided by a clear ambition: building a strong, inclusive, and future-oriented Order where every lawyer feels supported and respected.
